Another powerful session this eve at MMA with a big crew. Started with 20 minutes of Turkish get-ups. John B and Jeff both did TGU’s with the 80 pound kettlebell! If you are a big, strong man come in sometime, try that with a 35 and get schooled. Next was deadlift progressions, people going heavy with the one leg versions. Last was kettlebell swings. This was the martial artist’s ideal session. Props to new students Heather and Ryan who showed excellent technique and courageous choices in weight. Finally John B demonstrated, on me, some MORE evil, grappling and choking techniques, which he explained were made even more effective and more evil by practice of the TGU.
